Final Artwork Submission

After weeks of drawing, coloring, and dancing…I turned in photos of my pieces for the art show.  Now I wait to see what happens with the final art selection in a couple days. Would be a bummer if my pieces don’t get in…but I think the powers that be just put that on the schedule so the artists turn in stuff on time. I dunno…I’m just happy I don’t have a deadline at the moment.

Taking a break from making finished pieces, and playing around with doodle sketching. I’m trying to develop more characters and ideas that I can add to my visual vocabulary.

I like to keep my art pieces unplanned and a big mash up of freestyle drawing, but for stuff like fliers, business card, and etc. I like to have characters and doodles that can stand alone.  I was playing around with the standard star that we all draw as kids…and rounded it out a bit to make it a Turtle Star. How awesome am I…ha ha.

Visited my friend near my studio. He let me try on some new glasses and I took a photo. I don’t have many photos of people or myself on this blog…so there you go.
